Transitions (from reception class to mainstream class, from home to school, from country of origin to new home country) are moments of discomfort, uncertainty, fear, and possible exclusion and disadvantage.

Here it is important to provide the entire school team with the necessary information to be able to deal with the foreign-speaking newcomers as professionally as possible. Contact with parents and other relatives of the student is crucial in this.
