Opening up classes
Here is a video on an “opening” system between the reception class and the ordinary class, tested by colleagues in Quebec. The teachers and pupils talk about their experience with school activities in mathematics: mixing the groups has made it possible to create links between the pupils, to leave space for the other languages of the pupils, and to value the skills of each person in teamwork.
